Our moderation module is one of many modules Omero offers. Our moderation module allows you to take action against any user with ease. At Lightning, we take moderation very seriously, so this was a module we focused on.
I've heard of moderation, but what does it actually mean?
Well, our moderation module allows you to easily take action against users in your server that might've violated your set rules. We've gone into what each command means, how to utilize it, and errors you may receive when using our moderation commands. Please see our article on Audit & Action Logs below.
What does each command actually do?
TImeout - Timesout's allows you to easily silence a user if they're spamming or communicating something that goes against your guild rules. | Warn - Warn creates a case for the guild user's moderation history and sends the guild user a direct message informing them of the violation that occurred. | Ban - Ban will ban a guild user from your guild and instantly create a case for it that can be viewed apart of the guild user's moderation history. | Kick - Kick will kick a guild user from your guild and instantly create a case for it that can be viewed apart of the guild user's moderation history. |
Softban - Softban will delete a users messages and kick them from the guild. | Lock - Lock will restrict access to the channel, allowing nobody to talk in the channel. This is a great command if the channel is receiving a lot of spam. | Unlock - Unlock will allow guild users to start chatting in the designated channel again after it's previously been locked. | Note - Note allows you to add just a short note or a paragraph to a guild user's moderation history which can be easily accessible by any moderator in the future. |
Case - Case allows you to search for any case number and easily pull up the information associated with that case. | Prune - Prune allows you to easily delete a bulk amount of messages. | Reason - Reason allows you to change the reason of a case, this is really helpful if you need to add to why a guild user was banned. | Slowmode - Slowmode will turn on slowmode for the channel that it's run in. You'll need to also run the time that you wish to increase your slowmode to. |
DM - Send a DM to a member | release - Release a timed out server member | clearmoderations - Permanently erase someone's moderation history | hardban - Permanently ban someone and delete their messages |
modlogs - Retrieve moderation logs for a user | reversesearch - Reverse find a users Roblox or Discord through given arguments |
