How to obtain ID's

Nearly everything at Omero requires an ID of sorts, whether it's a guild ID or a role ID, you're going to need it. If you aren't sure where to find the said ID, this article is going to show you how to do that!
Other companies use names, it's soo much easier, why can't y'all?
Well, if we get the ID of whatever we need, you can change the name and not have to worry about updating it in Omero. It might take a little extra time upfront, but then it never needs to get changed again. Most groups dread changing roles because they then need to update their binds, it's a lot of work, nobody likes it. That's why we use IDs and rank numbers!
I right-click a role and I don't see "Copy ID"?
That's a common issue we've gotten. You'll need to go to your account settings > Advanced> Developer Mode. You need to have Developer Mode on to obtain any IDs.
Alrighty, got that. Now how do I actually get the ID?
From here, it's easy. You just need to right-click what you wish to get the ID of. For example, you'd need to right-click the channel name and click "Copy ID", then it's on your clipboard and can get pasted into Omero!
